We are very pleased to be able to support our colleagues at the Red Bull Ring Spielberg in Austria. The task was to increase the grip in neuralgic curves by cleaning the surface before the MotoGP races. However, the very powerful cleaning device had to be adjusted in such a way that no damage was caused to the surface or even asphalt was removed. This was a particular challenge, especially on racetracks with varying degrees of wear. The photos show that the task was accomplished with complete success.
When planning and carrying out such work on race tracks, as with other asphalt pavements, an experienced asphalt technologist with the appropriate analysis equipment should always accompany the work. Only in this way can the gentlest possible cleaning of the surface be ensured and the surface be used without damage for as long as possible.
